The Atrium Resort is located 7kms north of Surfers Paradise in peaceful Biggera Waters. Its great location and family friendly resort faciliites make it a great choice for your Gold Coast holiday.

The accommodation consists of one and two bedroom waterfront apartments all with views of the beautiful Gold Coast Broadwater and the Surfers Paradise skyline. Each apartment is self contained and includes your own double spa bath and a private balcony to take in the views.

Loved out stay at The Atrium the foyer and entry is beautiful, the view from our room was awesome and the spa was fun. The room was nicely decorated and clean staff very friendly. Thanks so much we will be back again.

Getting There

Situated 10 minutes north of Surfers Paradise on the Broadwater. Corner Marine Parade and Taylor Street, Biggera Waters.

If driving from Brisbane just past the Dreamworld, Movieworld & Wet n Wild Exit - take the Number 62 Exit which comes through Helensvale and into Brisbane Road. When you reach the Broadwater, instead of turning right towards Surfers Paradise and Seaworld, turn left at the lights.

If coming from Coolangatta, continue north through Surfers Paradise, past Australia Fair and along Marine Parade until reach Brisbane Road. Keep driving along the water and go through the lights - we are located 4 blocks ahead on the corner of Marine Parade & Taylor Street.

Nice apartments however a bit dated inside. Kids really enjoyed the pool and spa facilities.

Being a self contained apartment, I would expect an oven and/or electric frypan. When we arrived we had neither. I enquired at the desk and was given a stove top frypan. We went with friends and their apartment on the same level had more kitchen appliances and utensils which we did use and need. Its obvious that some owners pay more attention to detail than others in the apartments.
The shower constantly dripped, which I advised reception and it was promptly fixed.
Also did not like that the fan in the bathroom was on constantly, because there was a gap of an inch at the top of the door and the door frame to the ensuite you could constantly hear it. Yet our friends apartment did not have a fan going constantly? Overall the apartment was okay, but there could be more attention to detail.

Liked: Nice relaxing spot.
Disliked: Travelling with teenagers it was too far away from the Gold Coast than we thought and too far from the Beach.

Was happy with what we paid for staying at the atrium, was alot cheaper then anywhere else for a 2 b/r apartment. Units need updating but we all had a great time staying there and was very central to harbour town and theme parks. Kids loved the pool and games room.

The rooms were spacious, and the general quality of the place was good. I was disappointed that I was promised a 6th floor room, but ended up with a 2nd floor one!!!

Initially a little disappointed as we arrived on a public holiday and no front of house customer service but this was short lived.

Our stay was for 10 days and was a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage children in the 2 b/r spa apartment. Facilities in house were clean however had to do the usual mum thing and wash all the cutlery/plates etc prior to usage, a little noisy because of the exhaust fans.

My twin boys had choosen this resort because of the advertised facilities and they were not disappointed. Public transport in easy walking distance and time between buses around 1/2 hour wait servicing all major shopping centres however may need to obtain connecting buses which became an issue as I had an elderly person in our party.

Location is quiet and relaxing and as state they are approximately 7km from centre of Surfers but excellent value overall. Strongly recommend this place on your list of considered accommodation and would definitely stay again

Disliked: The lounge room chairs more for admiring than for sitting in as they had no back/neck rest

nice resort. the restaurant was good to eat at. the only complaint was all the cutlery, dishes and cooking equipment needed cleaning.so we had to clean these all ourselves. other than that we had a great stay an will return again sometime.

This apartment is over rated - definitely not 4 stars.
The managers are very rude.
The rooms are not air conditioned.
The hotel looks newer on the internet than it actually is.
The room smelt.
The spa bath wasn't working.
Everything we touched broke.
