Ruffles Lodge is situated in the Gold Coast hinterland with spectacular views, a tranquil environment and luxurious villas. Offering 5 star private lodge accommodation on the Gold Coast, Ruffles Lodge is set on 50 acres with landscaped gardens and surrounding forest.

The Queenslander-style main building at Ruffles Lodge has a large veranda, stone walls, high ceiling and aged timber, re-milled from 100-year-old wharves along the Brisbane River. With three villas and an executive suite available for accommodation, enjoy 180-degree views beyond the rural land to the high-rise buildings of Surfers Paradise way in the distance.

Ruffles Lodge interior design exhibits style and warmth with its beautiful timbers, covered decks and enormous well appointed bathrooms. Stay in a king size bed with quality linen and toiletries for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Dining is an experience in itself at Ruffles Lodge with various dining areas catering to the mood of the day where you can access Ruffle's own extensive wine cellar.

Ruffles Lodge provides 5 star facilities including a pampering day spa, pool and therapeutic spa heated all year round, a par 3 golf practice hole for those who are on the Gold Coast to play golf and beautiful walking trails around the lodge and into the hinterland.

Getting There

From Coolangatta Airport - From the airport you head north towards Brisbane on the Pacific Highway . The drive is about 40 minutes, once you pass Helensvale and see Wet & Wild and Movie World on your left you take the next exit which is number 57 (Oxenford and Mt. Tambourine.) Stay on the left side of the Highway and turn right into Old Brisbane Rd. From there follow the map to Reserve Rd and Baileys Mountain Rd. The Lodge is at the end of Ruffles Rd. Use the phone at the gate to obtain access.

From Brisbane Airport - From the airport follow the signs to the Gold Coast. After crossing the Gateway Bridge continue on the Gateway Motorway where it joins the Pacific Motorway. The drive is about 45 minutes. Once you pass Yatala look for exit number 49 (Pimpama and Jacobs Well). Cross the motorway following the signs for Willow Vale then use the map from Rifle Range Rd to Hotham Creek Rd. The Lodge is at the end of Ruffles Rd. Use the phone at the gate to obtain access.

Ruffles Lodge can arrange transfers to and from Gold Coast or Brisbane airports. For your safety and comfort, Ruffles will transport you using a BMW X5.

1 Bedroom Executive Lodge Suite
The one bedroom luxury Executive Suite is situated at the northern end of the Lodge with spectacular views from the living room to the coast. Overall size of the suite, excluding the surrounding deck, is 86 sq metres.

With it's own private garden, walk-in dressing room, large deck with comfortable outdoor furniture and a beautifully appointed bathroom including spa bath, the Executive Lodge Suite is spacious stylish and perfect for a honeymoon or executive retreat. The suite also features air conditioning, a wood fire, plasma screen TV, DVD, sound system and high speed Internet connection.

The large living area can be set up for meetings during the day and reverted back to private use at night. The suite is equipped with a private telephone number for the duration of the stay and video transfer from a notebook computer to the plasma screen. Ideal for private corporate gatherings.

Bedding configuration is 1 King bed or 2 Single beds - Maximum capacity is 2 people.

1 Bedroom Chums' Spa Villas
The one bedroom Chums' Spa Villa is the only two storey accommodation at Ruffles.

Chums' Spa Villas are 63 sq metres and have sunny northerly aspects including spacious bathrooms with double spas, log gas fires, 42" Plasma TVs, sound systems and high speed Internet connections.

Bedding configuration is 1 Queen bed (Chums Up) or 1 King bed (Chums Down) - Maximum capacity is 2 people.

1 Bedroom Garden Villa
The one bedroom Garden Villas at Ruffles Lodge have 180-degree views across the rural land of the Gold Coast Hinterland, to the Broadwater and ocean beyond.

Garden Villas cover 51 square metres and are completely separate from the main lodge. Each Garden Villa has its own covered deck, large bathroom, high-speed Internet connection, video, satellite, free-to-air TV and own private phone number.

Bedding configuration is 1 King bed or 2 Single beds - Maximum capacity is 2 people.

1 Bedroom Treehouse Pool Villas
These three villas are set 200 metres away from the main Lodge and are built in to the side of the hill, in a pole house style.

Each has two decks and a plunge pool with breathtaking views. The bedroom is on a mezzanine level with steps below to the living area, opening onto the deck and pool areas. Each Treehouse Pool Villa has a bathroom with a spa bath, a log fire and air conditioning.

Our main conference room, The Terrace Room boasts spectacular views of the hinterland and sprawling Gold Coast while our Executive Suite provides a more relaxed setting suited to smaller meetings. Team building activities can be arranged on request through our preferred supplier who can tailor an activity to suit your objectives utilising our grounds and the surrounding hinterland. Fantastic service and lovely accomodation. Beautiful rooms and what fantastic views. We ate at the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent. Our hosts were friendly without being intrusive.

Absolutely stunning... worthy of 6 star rating. The entire atmosphere at Ruffles is completely serene. The service was fantastic, I couldn't have asked for any better and the rooms were just so beautifully decorated. Definitely a great place to get away and relax from the hustle bustle of life.
