Next Backpackers is a brand new and modern backpackers located in Hervey Bay offering quality accommodation at affordable prices. Winning the 2007 Fraser Coat South Burnett Award for Tourism for Best budget Accommodation, Next backpackers is the perfect place to stay.

All rooms at Next Backpackers are fully air-conditioned with an ensuite and secure access cards to ensure the safety of each guest. Rooms also feature polished timber floors and provide free linen to all guests.

Just 300 kilometers north of Brisbane in South East Queensland, Next Backpackers is located in Hervey Bay - a popular tourist destination where guests can explore the natural wonders of the surrounding islands, beaches and wildlife.

Getting There

Coach: We offer a courtesy pick for any coaches that are arriving in Hervey Bay Between 6:00am and 9:00pm, Please let our office know when Booking.

Plane: Airport Shuttle Hervey Bay meets all flights. Cost is $8.00 pp Door to Door Service.

Car: When driving into Hervey Bay Stay on Boat Harbour Drive, Turn left at the 5th set of lights, into Bideford st and look for us about 700 meters down on the right hand side.

All rooms are air-conditioned, ensuite in most rooms (unisex bathroom available), secure key card entry, free linen and polished timber floors from Fraser Island in upstairs rooms.
