Greeted with enthusiastic welcome, unfortunately balance of staff over our stay where not particularly friendly which was a pity given the location, lifestyle and balance of the people my son and I met during our time in Cairns

Loved staying here. Lovely room, amazing bathroom, great bed, decent kitchen, and a dishwasher which was a pleasant surprise.
Very nice staff. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the Reef Terminal where the day trips from, but you can get a bus there for a couple of dollars. Will definitely come back to this accomodation

Apartments on the upper floors are large, clean and with a good view from their balconies. Furnishings and facilities are good. Reasonable walking distance to CBD (10-15 minutes). Buses stop nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice pool.

Stayed in 1 Bedroom apartment and loved how modern it was.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Just a few things i was not completly happy with and that was the smell coming from lounge suite, even though you can see the lounge covers were washed, the smell must have been coming from the foam inserts. On arrival the bin in room full of food and dirty babies nappies but the staff member was quick to come up and remove it for us.
Also the grill in oven was filthy and smelt quiet bad.
Otherwise we had a very pleasant experience

We stayed at 201 Lake Street for 6 nights and got a great deal, it being the off season. It was a little uncomfortable 10-15min walk to town in that kind of heat. Owners were extremely helpful, with a great after hours reception, and helping us book our tours. Really appreciated the in suite laundry. Very nice spacious, modern apartment.

Spent 5 nights in beautiful bright 1-bedroom apartment with water views and fab bathroom. 10-15 min walk to city shops, restaurants along waterside boardwalk. Few minutes to outstanding children\'s playground on esplanade.

Liked: Shutters on balcony, openable windows both ends for cross draught when aircon not needed, sparkling clean pool, helpful managers
Disliked: slippery floor tiles in shower; no wireless broadband & ethernet cable & modem located so you have to work on low settee not at table, internet connection too expensive $5 per 15 mins.

I really enjoyed my stay at 201 Lake St.
There was loads of space. I had a huge balcony which I wish I had more time to enjoy.
The people who worked there were so friendly and helpful. I really had a nice time there. I had a problem with the dishwasher and they fixed it right away

Beautiful place to stay. Staff very helpful. Rooms excellent and clean. Short walk to middle of town. Very quite.The only reason I did not give a 10 for the room is because there were some down lights broken in the bathroom but they fixed them as soon as we told them.

Could have done with apartment being serviced each day,as if staying for more than a few days the apartment can get grubby unless your prepared to clean up whilst on holiday. We stayed for 6 nights and if we wanted extra towels we either had to wash them ourselves or pay for them, not good when staying for a considerable length of time. Reception opening hours could have done with being extended from early in the morning to later in the evening, hours at present are 8am to 6pm. On a positive note the apartments are ultra modern, practical and a good location and we would definately stay again. Air conditioning was excellent and the bath was wonderful!

Lake St apartments were amazing! Loved all the new and modern furniture and the staff were excellent. Its not often these days you receive such good service. They were also very accomodating; our flight didn\'t leave until 4pm so they gave us a late checkout so we wouldn\'t be inconvenienced. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a great spot. We had a top floor room that looked out over the city, ocean and mountains, What a sight to wake up to every morning. Easy walking distance to the esplande and a few resturants. Had a great time would stay there again.
