Stay in one of six romantic private villas complete with double spa baths, four poster beds and wood fireplaces. Each villa has its own balcony with outdoor setting so you can relax and enjoy the crisp mountain air and garden outlook. Escape to the 3-bedroom Edge House on a secluded cliff with views to the coast, fully equipped kitchen and log fireplaces.

Book into the dedicated Day Spa and treat yourself to an indulgent facial or a relaxing massage. Watch a movie in the Gold Class Cinema, where you and your partner will enjoy champagne, chocolates and your choice of movie.

The Escarpment Retreat is conveniently located on Mount Tamborine only a 30 minute drive from Surfers Paradise and approximately 60 minutes from Brisbane. Take the time to explore the quaint community of Mount Tamborine where you can go wine tasting, cheese tasting, fudge tasting, take bush walks, go hand gliding, play golf, visit the distillery and relax at local cafes.

Getting There

The Escarpment Retreat is located at the southern end of the renowned Mount Tamborine area on a pristine, tranquil, heritage mountain property just 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 60 minutes from the Queensland capital city of Brisbane.

From Brisbane: Travel approx 45 minutes from South Brisbane on the M1 South towards Coolangatta. Take Exit 71 at Nerang. Head towards Beaudesert on the Beaudesert-Nerang Road. After approximately 8km turn right onto Mount Nathan Road. Continue for about 10km before turning right into Henri Robert Drive. Follow the mountain road past the golf course on your left hand side and arrive at a T - intersection (Prospect Street and Siganto Street). Turn right and we are straight ahead on the first roundabout

From Coolangatta Airport: Travel approx 45 minutes on the M1 North towards Brisbane. Take Exit 71 at Nerang. Head towards Beaudesert on the Beaudesert-Nerang Road. Our property is child friendly with our beautiful 3 bedroom home configured with a king size bed, double bed and 2 x single beds. The romantic villas are designed for couples only.

1 Bedroom Couples Villa
Rediscover romance in our beautiful split level villas with high wooden ceilings and elegant appointings. The sunken lounge room features a wood fireplace, TV and DVD player. Enjoy the complimentary breakfast in our dining room overlooking the rainforest and stay in and have delicious two-course dinners delivered direct to your front door served in clay tagines. The villas are spacious and comfortable and open onto their own terrace with outdoor setting so you can enjoy the crisp mountain air and garden outlook. Luxurious amenities abound with a comfortable four poster bed with sumptuous linen and a large double spa bath, complete with bubble bath and robes in the bathroom.

Bedding configuration is 1 King Four Poster bed. Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.

3 Bedroom Edge House
Escape to the "Edge House" perched on a cliff with views as far as the coast and provides accommodation for up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. Designed for self-catering, it features a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, two viewing platforms, log fireplaces, a triple spa bath, 2 bathrooms, open plan dining and living rooms, and luxury appointments.

Bedding configuration is 1 King, 1 Double and 2 Single Beds. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests.
